5th seed girls flag football team looks to make a statement in playoffs
The Molokai Flag Football Team is set to take the field on Wednesday in the 1st round of the HHSAA Division II State Tournament.
The Farmers are the 5th seed and will take on Honokaa at Pearl City High School.
This season, Molokai is 4-1 overall after having to cancel multiple games due to the storms that came through the islands. But despite having to battle the weather, the Farmers stuck together to keep their season momentum alive.
“We have a lot of challenges and I’m just really proud of this team. I think our biggest success is our teamwork and just being able to be there for each other,” said Molokai Senior Khloe Bicoy.
